Command Summary

This section gives a brief description of user account commands in alphabetical order. Detailed command syntax and descriptions in command reference format are presented at the end of this section.

BLOCK-PRINT	Prints block characters on the screen or printer.
CATALOG	Creates a pointer for an mvBASIC program.
CHANGE-FILE	Changes a file definition code.
CHARGE-TO	Charges system use to a specified charge-account.
CHARGES	Reports usage statistics for the current logon session.
CHECK-SUM	Produces check-sum statistics for file items.
CLEAR-FILE	Clears data files and dictionaries.
CLEAR-GROUP-LOCKS	Clears all group locks.
COMPARE	Compares items within files and highlights differences and insertions.
COMPILE	Compiles an mvBASIC program.
CONVERSE	Connects an attached line and a linked line.
COPY	Copies file items.
COPY-FILE	Renames and/or moves files.
COPY-LIST	Copies a select-list.
COUNT	Counts file items.
CREATE-BFILE	Creates mvBASIC files.

CT	Copies file items to the terminal.
DE	Edits an item with Full Screen Editor.
DEBUG-ON/DEBUG-OFF	Enables and disables debuggers.
DECATALOG	Removes a command Definition item.

ECHO-ON/ECHO-OFF	Toggles keyboard input display.

OFF	Ends user sessions.
P	Toggles suppression of terminal output.
:PDUMP	Copies an item from a POINTER-FILE to tape.
:PLOAD	Copies a file from tape to the POINTER-FILE.
POVF	Lists available disk space.
PRINT-ERR	Invokes the System Message processor from TCL.
PRINTRONIX	Sets page length for a Printronix printer.
PROCESS-STATUS	Displays status of a process.
