Additional File Manger operations

The following section describes the operations available for listing and manipulating information.

  1. Listing or clearing record locks
    The Record Locks dialog box enables you to list and clear record locks on a particular server.
  2. Editing General table properties
    The Properties dialog box allows you to view and change table properties.
  3. Viewing Usage table properties
    Complete these instructions to display the Usage Table properties.
  4. Displaying Statistics table properties
    Complete these instructions to display the Statistics Table properties.
  5. Listing servers
    The File System Interface Servers dialog box lists the FSI servers being accessed by the currently open domain.
  6. Displaying Flash shared code
    The File Manager enables you to display the current usage of the shared memory segment, which contains the shared FlashBASIC object code.
  7. Creating indexes
    Use the Indexes option to view, create and delete B-tree indexes on the specified table.
  8. Checking overflow
    The Check Overflow Files option displays an overflow report for the specified files.
  9. Running a hash test
    The hash test feature displays the current state of the file and allows you to test various hash values.
  10. Resizing files
    The resizing process works by extending the primary space of the file and rehashing all items. While this process is running, access to the file may be slower, but the file is otherwise available as normal. If the system is rebooted while files are being resized, the resizing process is restarted automatically by the servers. The resizing is done in the background by system threads, running on the servers where the file is located.
