Upgrading with a File-Save Tape

This section provides instructions for upgrading to D3 Linux with a file-save tape from:

an earlier version of D3 Linux.
another D3 platform.
an Advanced Pick system.
an R83 system.
another Pick compatible environment.

The upgrade installs a new Monitor, ABS, and data files. The user data is restored from the file-save tape by restoring accounts, then selectively restoring required items into the system files.
