To run a command shell on the local system from mvBase, type:
! <cr> |
Then enter the desired command.
To return to mvBase, type:
EXIT <cr> |
To execute a command and immediately return control to mvBase type:
! command <cr> |
CAUTION |
Do not execute graphical applications (for example, the Edit command or Windows Notepad) from the command shell. This command should be used solely for the execution of text-based commands. |
