Creating a Database in D3

To create a database, the following steps are necessary:

• Decide which files are needed and for each file:

• • Creating the Data File (dictionary section and data section)

  • Creating attribute-defining items

  • Modifying the file-defining item, if applicable

  • Creating indexes, if any

  • Writing any FlashBASIC subroutines that are called in dictionaries

• Write any FlashBASIC programs required for batch processes

• Write reports
