Installing the Web-to-Host Wizard
If you are installing BlueZone Web-to-Host on a Microsoft IIS web server, the BlueZone Web-to-Host setup program installs
the BlueZone Web-to-Host Wizard and automatically detects that IIS is running.
If you want to serve up BlueZone Web-to-Host from on a non-Microsoft web server, you must first install the Web-to-Host Wizard
on a Windows workstation. In this scenario, you create your Web-to-Host web pages on the Windows workstation and when you
are ready, copy them or FTP them to your web server.
Upgrading previous versions to the current Web-to-Host Wizard
The current Web-to-Host Wizard offers two options: the ability to import your version 3.3 (or higher) Web-to-Host web pages
or the ability to upgrade them.
|
• |
The Import Option allows you to install the Wizard version 5.2, but keeps your current version of the BlueZone emulation clients.
|
|
• |
The Upgrade Option completely upgrades your Web-to-Host installation to use both the Wizard version 5.2 and the 5.2 version of the BlueZone
emulation clients.
|
Using the Web-to-Host Wizard
To launch the Web-to-Host Wizard, double-click the Web-to-Host Wizard desktop shortcut

that was created during the installation process.
Existing customers
If you are an existing BlueZone Web-to-Host customer, we highly encourage you to use the new Web-to-Host Wizard. To use the
new Web-to-Host Wizard, install the Web-to-Host Wizard by following the installation instructions. Then, follow the instructions
in the section on Importing and Upgrading to the new Web-to-Host Wizard.
Exceptions
If you have a pre-3.3 version of BlueZone Web-to-Host already installed, and you want to upgrade just the BlueZone components
to this version, and you don't want to use the Web-to-Host Wizard, you can manually upgrade your current installation and
continue to use it as you are now.
