Creating and managing MV web service providers

The second step in the process of setting up MV Web Service Operations or Resources is creating a connection to an MV Web Service Provider. An MV Web Service Provider is the HTTP server that will be used to host your Web Services and their operations or resources.

Note: This server does not need to be created on the same machine as the D3 or mvBase database.

This section provides instructions for setting up and creating that connection, as well as editing connection parameters and dropping a connection.

In addition, if any Web Services have User ID/Password security applied, instructions are provided for creating and managing users.
