Perform these steps to start the mvTerm client and connect that client to the mvBase Server by opening a session file. The mvTerm client’s properties and connection parameters must have been saved previously in a session file in order to use this procedure. See Configuring (and Saving) mvTerm Session Properties for information on creating such files.
Launch an mvTerm client session via a Windows Desktop shortcut or via the Windows Task bar. An mvTerm client session launches.
Select Session, then select Open.
Select (highlight or type) the configuration file to open.
Select OK. The mvTerm client automatically connects to the Server and line number specified in the session file, and assumes previously defined client configuration parameters.
