Using these commands, the system administrator maintains and controls certain features of the system.
CONSOLE-ON assigns the system console to any process. CONSOLE-OFF disables this feature. |

Initializes or restarts the Spooler without coldstarting the system. |

Initializes or restarts a system printer, assigns form queues to a printer, and specifies the number of pages to be skipped between print jobs, the type of printer, and the number of the line to which the printer is assigned. |

Assigns a logical tape unit to a physical backup medium. |
|
Sets the system-wide default characteristics for terminals and printers. |
|
Allows display and control of another process on your terminal; TANDEM effectively links two lines to one process. |
