Perform these steps to save the session configuration (the terminal properties and/or the connection parameters) for future use.
From the mvBase Terminal Emulator screen, select Session, then select Save. The Save As dialog box displays.
Although you can save the properties in any location, it is recommended that you create a configuration directory for this purpose. For example:
Format
c:\mvBase\mvconfig\smith.vtm
Parameter(s)
mvconfig |
Name of the configuration directory. |
smith.vtm |
Name of the file where the session properties are saved. |
Specify a name for the configuration file.
Select OK.
The mvTerm client’s ability to save these settings to a file is highly advantageous. Opening the saved file automatically accomplishes the following steps:
Connects to mvBase Server.
Opens an mvTerm client session.
Retrieves the previously configured terminal properties.
