Selecting Text

Selecting Partial Text (Click, Drag, and Release)

The Copy and Paste feature for selecting partial text (click, drag, and release) has been extended to allow the ability to scroll backwards and forwards to previous and next back pages while selecting text.

During a selecting partial text operation, scrolling of the mvTerm window takes place when the left mouse button is dragged above or below the mvTerm window. When the mouse is dragged above the mvTerm window, scrolling goes backwards. When the mouse is dragged below the mvTerm window, scrolling goes forwards. When scrolling selects a row, the entire row is selected. The scrolling continues until the left mouse is positioned inside the mvTerm window, the left mouse button is released, there is no more data to scroll over (end of data), or a key on the keyboard is hit. When scrolling backwards, the end of data occurs at the top of the back page section. When scrolling forward, the end of data occurs at the bottom of the screen page containing the current input position.
