start.rtc command

The start.rtc BASIC program initiates the system’s real-time clock. This happens automatically during the boot process, provided a real-time clock is present. If one is not present, the current time is requested from the person standing closest to the console.

For UNIX: This command sets the D3 system date and time equal to the UNIX system date and time, clearing up any discrepancies caused by the set-date or set-time commands.

For Windows: Supports the system’s real-time clock.
