Hot Backup commands

The fsihotbackup command displays the FSI Hot Backup utility where users can configure Hot Backup primary and secondary servers.

The fhb-allfiles-on command enables logging of all files except DT, DX or DY type files.

The fhb-allfiles-off command disables logging of all files. This is the standard mode of operation where only DL type files are logged.

The fhb-on command turns on update enqueuing for the current process.

The fhb-off command turns off update enqueuing for the current process. No matter what operation is done by the user, updates are not placed in the queue for later dequeueing to the hot backup machine.

The fhb-flags command allows setting any or all of the FSI Hot Backup flags (allfiles, global and local).

The fhb-status command displays the status of the FSI Hot Backup flags (allfiles, global and local).

The fhb-SendMessage command is used to issue commands to the Hot Backup secondary server and its helpers.

The fhb_S_Timer command allows you to create and manage a records file that reports throughput measurements of your FSI Hot Backup system on a single record.

The fhb_S_Timer_enqueue command allows you to record throughput measurements of your FSI Hot Backup system on multiple records.

The fhb-getqueueindexes command identifies the Hot Backup queue indexes. If neither the checkprimary or checkprimaryonly parameters are included, only the secondary queue is checked. In cases where an index value cannot be determined (for example, running this command on a system where Hot Backup has not yet been set up), no index will be returned.

The fs command loads the specified configuration and starts the secondary server.
