Single server setup
This setup has one Cluster Service and one Server configured and can be used in situations where clustering (multiple servers) is not required to provide higher availability. The Cluster Service transparently directs all traffic to the single available Server. 
In this scenario, you can install all the components on the same machine as shown in the following diagram:

To configure a single server installation you must perform the following steps:
1. During the installation, provide the IP address of the single server. Refer to Installation steps for more information. If you missed this point during the installation, you can either redo the installation quickly or edit the HTML pages. Refer to Coding HostFront HTML Pages in the Host Access Manager Administrator’s Guide.
2. Add one cluster service entry in HAM. Refer to Add Cluster Service in the Host Access Manager Administrator’s Guide.
3. Add one Server entry in HAM. Refer to Add Server in the Host Access Manager Administrator’s Guide. Both the Cluster Service and the Server entries would have the same IP address in this case.
