By default, the FIPS mode feature is turned off. In order to enable FIPS mode, you must create a BlueZone installation source
directory on your hard drive. Refer to
Installing optional BlueZone features for more information.
You must then check if FIPS mode support is enabled:

Launch the BlueZone emulator that you want to check. |

From the BlueZone menu bar, click .
|
|
3. |
Click Configure. The Telnet Properties window appears.
|
|

Look for the words FIPS Mode Enabled which are located directly under the SSL information. If FIPS Mode is not enabled, you see the words FIPS Mode Disabled.

To enable FIPS mode:

Browse to the BlueZone installation source directory you created on your hard drive. |

2. |
Locate SETUP.INI and open it with a text editor. |
|
3. |
In the [BZSetup] section, locate the FIPSMode=No entry. |
|
4. |
Change the FIPSMode=No to FIPSMode=Yes. |
|
5. |
Save and close the file. |
|
6. |
Double-click SETUP.EXE to launch the InstallShield Wizard. |
|
7. |
Follow the InstallShield instructions to complete the installation. |
