The Host File Transfer property sheet is used to configure Kermit Options in BlueZone VT. To invoke the Host File Transfer property sheet, from the BlueZone MenuBar select Transfer:Configure. The Host File Transfer property sheet will display the Transfer, Advanced and Batch Transfers tabs.
The Host File Transfer ToolBar is located at the lower left hand corner of the Host File Transfer dialog. It is used to control several aspects of the file transfer process.
Default
Icon - Used to set the current configuration settings back to their
default values.
Import
Icon - Used to import a configuration file for this specific dialog.
Save
Icon - Used to save the current configuration settings.
Export
Icon - Used to "export" or save the current dialog's
configuration to a file.
Send
File Icon - Used to initiate the sending of a file from the host
system to your PC.
Receive
File Icon - Used to initiate the receiving of a file from your
PC to the host system.
Help
Icon - Used to launch BlueZone Help.
The Transfer tab is used to enter the names of the files that you wish to transfer.
Host File ----
File Name: Type the name of the file that you wish to transfer from the Host to your PC.
PC File ----
File Name: Type the name of the file that you wish to transfer from your PC to the host.
File Options ----
Choose one of the following file transfer modes:
ASCII
Binary
Auto-Detect
The Advanced tab of the Host File Transfer property sheet is used to configure Kermit file transfer settings. Options include:
Kermit Options ----
Checksum: Choose the desired Checksum type from the drop-down listbox.
Packet Size: Enter the desired Packet Size in the editbox.
Window Size: Enter the desired Window Size in the editbox.
Server Mode: Enable this option if you want to operate in the Server Mode.
Use PC Time for Time Stamp: Enable this option if you prefer to use the PC time to time stamp file transfers as opposed to the server time.
Default Transfer Path ----
Default Transfer Path: Choose the desired Default Transfer Path for the saving of transferred files.
Browse: You can use the Browse button to browse to the location that you wish to use for Kermit file transfers.
Host Commands ----
Send Command: This editbox is used to place the desired Kermit Send Command string when sending files to the host. If you require a different Kermit Send Command, make those changes here in the editbox.
Receive Command: This editbox is used to place the desired Kermit Receive Command string when receiving files from the host. If you require a different Kermit Receive Command, make those changes here in the editbox.
Server Startup Command: This editbox is used to place the desired Kermit Startup Command string when connecting to the host. If you require a different Kermit Startup Command, make those changes here in the editbox.
