Installing BlueZone |
Chapter 2 |
BlueZone VBA is not included on the BlueZone CD-ROM or BlueZone CD Image. BlueZone VBA is an "extra cost" option, and therefore must be obtained by downloading it from the Seagull Software web site.
NOTE
Please
contact your Seagull Software Account
Executive for information on licensing and obtaining BlueZone VBA.
BlueZone VBA is distributed in the form of a CAB file called BZVBA.CAB. BlueZone VBA installation is accomplished by copying the BlueZone VBA CAB file to a standard BlueZone Desktop Distribution Image and running the BlueZone Desktop SETUP.EXE program. BlueZone VBA will be installed automatically along with the standard BlueZone Desktop application files. The standard BlueZone installation dialogs will be displayed. Respond to the questions and prompts just as you normally would.

I Don't Have a BlueZone Distribution Image
If you usually install BlueZone from the BlueZone CD and you do not have a BlueZone Distribution Image, you can quickly create one by copying the entire BlueZone Desktop folder from the BlueZone CD to a convenient folder on your PC. Now copy the BlueZone VBA CAB file to the BlueZone folder that you just created and run SETUP.EXE.

a Distribution Image in Chapter 6

When SETUP.EXE is run with the BlueZone VBA CAB file present, BlueZone will automatically be installed with VBA support enabled.
NOTE BlueZone
VBA can only be installed with BlueZone version 4.0 or higher.
You can add BlueZone VBA to an existing installation of BlueZone by copying the BlueZone VBA CAB file to your BlueZone Distribution Image then running SETUP.EXE. BlueZone Desktop will be re-installed along with the new VBA files.
Keep in mind that BlueZone VBA can only be installed with BlueZone version 4.0 or higher. If your current BlueZone installation is older than version 4.0, you must obtain version 4.0 (or higher) first before you can proceed.
