Use these steps to correct failed connections when importing defined Web Services into
a specified Web Service Provider. You can complete the import from this topic when the failed
connections are corrected.
Prerequisites
Important: You must complete Steps 1–6 in
Import a web service before proceeding with
the tasks in this topic.
Procedure

Complete Steps 1–6 in Import a web service.

From the Web Service Operation table, select the service(s) that failed and click
Edit to open a dialog box.
Note: Multiple operations and resources can be selected for editing at the same time by
holding down the CTRL key while clicking.

Edit the failed connections.

When all connections are fixed, click Test Connection to
confirm.

When you are done fixing the connections, click Next.
All of the operations or resources contained in the selected services are verified for
proper execution.

Do one of the following:
- If all of the connections pass the test and you do not want to make any changes,
click Next.
- If you want to change MV Server settings during the import, including connection
pool settings, go to Changing MV Server settings.
You will see one of the following messages:
- A message indicating that the operations or resources were verified and no errors
were found.
- A message indicating the problem with the operation or resource.

After you receive the message, do one of the following:

To correct operations or resources that fail to verify, do the following:

Take the necessary steps to correct the operation.

Click Verify Services to re-verify.

When the operations or resources are fixed, click Finish to
complete the import.
