Stopping the Transaction Logger

Use the TLOG-STOP command to terminate both the current transaction logging session and the transaction logging process. Transaction logging stops and control is immediately returned to TCL. The transaction logger finishes processing the current transaction, output is terminated, and an END OF SESSION message and an End-Of-File mark are written to the backup medium.

When using the W (wait) option, the system waits for transaction logging to end before returning control to TCL. The E option stops transaction logging when the queue is empty, and the O option logs the process off once the session terminates.
