The Transaction Logger restore process has been modified to prevent the loss of transactions after an abnormal termination (for example, BREAK and END). To prevent loss of transactions after an abnormal termination, see the instructions below.
To prevent loss and restart transaction:
Issue a TLOG-STOP verb on the primary system.
Issue a T-SPACE 2 verb on the secondary system.
This conditions the VTL for the restart.
Follow the steps to restart the TLOG-DQ or TLOG-RESTORE process.
