Introduction

This publication explains how to install FlashConnect. FlashConnect is delivered in either a UNIX tar file or a Windows self-extracting zip file that contains the following components:

• FCService components

• JRE 1.4 (UNIX tar file or Windows zip file)

• FlashConnect

• Miscellaneous installation files

The FlashConnect Service components are necessary only for FlashConnect dynamic applications.
