Installing the JRE

You must install the JRE or Java SDK on your server if you are using Java Servlets. The FlashConnect Socket Server requires JRE 1.4 (located on the product CD in the FlashConnect directory).

NOTE	Previous versions of the JRE should be uninstalled, and the installation directory and registry entries manually deleted. It is the responsibility of the system administrator to properly install and configure the JRE according to instructions provided by the JRE Provider for most systems.
