Master Dictionary

Each account on the D3 system has its own master dictionary. This file defines the account environment. Master dictionaries contain:

• File-defining items (data files)

• Synonym-defining items (file Q-pointers)

• Commands

• Connectives

• Procs

• Macros

• Menus

• Update Processor prestore items

• BASIC program catalog pointers

There is only one master dictionary per account.
