Importing Records

Complete these instructions to import records into a Master Dictionary, Dictionary or Data Level table.

To import a record:

  1. Select the Master Dictionary table, Dictionary table or Data Level table into which you want to import the new record from the Domain Explorer.

  2. Select the Import option from the Tools menu.

    The Import dialog box displays.

  3. Select the record to import.

  4. Type the Record Id to assign to the new record in the Into text box.

  5. Click Import.

    The record is imported. To verify the imported record, right-click the table into which the record was imported and select the Show Data option.
