Copying Records

Complete these instructions to copy records from one Dictionary or Data Level table of a database to a different Dictionary or Data Level table.

To copy a record:

  1. Right-click the Dictionary or Data Level table of a database from the Domain Explorer and select the Show Data option to display the table's contents in the Workspace.

  2. Select one or more records from the source Dictionary or Data Level table. To select multiple records, press and hold the CTRL key while selecting the records. For example:

  3. Press and hold the CTRL key while dragging the selected records to the destination Dictionary or Data Level table.

  4. Right-click the new destination Dictionary or Data Level table from the Domain Explorer and select the Show Data option to confirm the records have been copied.
