Renaming a database

You can rename any database in your domain.

Complete these instructions to rename a database.

Procedure

  1. Select the database to rename from the Domain Explorer and then select Rename Database from the File Menu. You can also right-click the database to rename from the Domain Explorer and select the Rename Database option.

    The name for the specified database is highlighted in the Domain Explorer.

  2. Type the new database name and then press ENTER.

    The specified database is renamed.
