The watch command executes and re-executes a TCL command continuously until the user cancels the execution by pressing a key. The output of the first page of the specified TCL command is displayed on the screen continuously.

When running the watch command a data level is created to the WATCHLOG file in the DM account (where the PIB number running the command is the data level name). The results of the watch iterations (up to a maximum of 100) are logged to this data level.
