Verifying the installation

After installing the components, verify that the installation is complete from the MQSeries account.

1. Press M from the TCL prompt to display the menu.
2. Press 1 to configure and verify the MQSeries settings.
3. Press 2 to load the D3 MQSeries Server Interface DLL.
4. Press 4 to run the MQSeries-exercise program.

   • If the installation is successful, the message PASS displays.

   • If the installation fails, an MQSeries-generated message explains the reason for the failure.

   • If this procedure takes more than two minutes to complete, then the permissions for the user that D3 is running under may be incorrect.

   • If the activation has expired for D3 MQSeries Server Interface, the following error message displays:

     "MQCONN("", -1, 2, 2013) (EXPIRY ERROR)
     An unexpected error was returned:
     CompCode=2
     Reason =2013 (EXPIRY ERROR)
     FAIL"
