Running services as the D3DB user

Complete these instructions to run services as the D3DB user.

1. Select Start → Settings → Control Panel → Administrative Tools → Services to open the Service Manager dialog box.
2. Right-click the D3 Virtual Machine Environment, and then select Properties.

   The D3 Virtual Machine Environment Properties dialog box displays.

3. Select the Log On tab.
4. Select This Account option, and then click Browse.
5. Select D3DB from the Names list, and then click OK.
6. Type and confirm the D3DB user password, and then click OK.
7. Restart the D3 Virtual Machine Environment.
