Create a Library
To create IncludeScripts, Global ProcScripts, and snippets for use during modeling and construction, you use the Project Editor.
For other types of objects, see Create a Library for Modeled Properties or Global Objects .
You must have created a project to contain your application definitions. For more information, see Working with Projects.
To create IncludeScripts, Global ProcScripts, and snippets for use during modeling and construction
- Open your project. In the U-Bar, click
Browse, select
prj
, then choose the project you want to open. - In the Templates tab of the Resource Browser, select the desired library template.
- Drag and drop it onto the project in the Structure Editor.
- Rename the library.
- Optionally, edit the Description property to provide a more informative description.
- To open the library, right-click it and choose Open from the menu.
- In the library editor, drag templates from the Resource Browser and drop them onto the library object in the Structure to create them. Then edit them as required, depending on the object.
