Enabling Direct/Modem support

Starting with version 6.2, BlueZone VT and BlueZone 6530 can use your PC's COM ports to support either a direct serial connection, or a modem connection for host connectivity. By default, the Direct/Modem feature is disbaled.

To enable Direct/Modem support:

  1. Open the global.ini file.
    Notepad or any basic text editor can be used to edit the global.ini file.
  2. In the [VT] section, locate the ;Serial=Yes entry.
  3. Delete the semicolon (;).
  4. Save the file.
