Configuring optional features

BlueZone has several optional features. Some of the BlueZone optional features can be installed using the standard installation wizard. However, there are several additional options and features that require manual configuration.

1. Determine the features that you want to enable/disable. The optional features that can be set are:

   • Customize the main BlueZone menu bar

   • Customize the main BlueZone title bar

   • Enable the power key feature

   • Enable Kerberos Authentication Protocol

   • Enable FIPS mode support

   • Install Unisys T27 and UTS Terminal emulators *

   • Install BlueZone Plus VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) *

   • BlueZone ActiveX control

   • Control file location

   • Disable profile sharing

   • Install script player only feature

   • Add Session Manager in the startup folder

   • Add Session Manager in the Windows taskbar

   • Enable the LU name mapping feature

   • Disable the append to clipboard feature

   • Enable BlueZone feature locking

   • Lock the License Server tab

   • Enable the Telnet locking feature

   • Enable the display locking feature

   • Enable the font locking feature

   • Disable the show locked dialogs feature

   • Enable the dialog configuration profile toolbar locking feature

   • Enable the BlueZone Secure FTP locking feature

   * These features are available as additional cost options.

2. Make the necessary change for each feature.
3. Double-click setup.exe to reinstall BlueZone.
   If you have enabled any new emulator types, like the UTS terminal emulator, you must select it in the Component Selection window.
