Printer Location
This reflects your Printer Properties. It displays the Printer Type and the port to which it is connected.
Control Panel
This displays the printer status as Not Connected, Connecting, Connected, or Receiving Pages . Complementary information appears
in the Status Bar.
Status Bar
This displays the printer status as Offline, Connecting, Ready, and with Job in progress. Complementary information appears
in the Control Panel. The Status Bar also displays, on the far right, the name of the Printer Device on the host.
Host Name
This is the name of the host that connects to this Printer session.
Connection Status
A solid line between the printer and the host represents a successful connection between the host and the Printer session.
When the connected is broken, a red mark appears over the connection line. The connection status can also be read from the
Printer control panel and the Printer session status bar.
