Playing macros
BlueZone users may record mouse and keyboard events and save the results to a disk file for later playback. The process of playing back the resulting file is called Playing a Macro.
1. From the BlueZone menu bar, click Macro Play.
If using BlueZone’s default settings, the Display Session enlarges to occupy the entire screen and the Play Macro file dialog displays.
2. Select a previously recorded macro file from the Play Macro file dialog and click Open.
3. Once the Macro file is open, BlueZone begins playing the macro.
Note
During macro playback, all mouse and keyboard events performed by the user are ignored by Windows. This interruption of mouse and keyboard input continues until the macro is completed.
Recording and playing BlueZone macros is system wide (i.e., the macro is not limited to just the BlueZone application but can be used to run other applications as well). However, reliability within a MS-DOS shell is questionable.
Some things to consider when using a macro:
•  Because window position is sometimes critical to having a macro playback successfully, BlueZone can be configured to automatically maximize its main window during recording and playing.
Refer to Macro properties for more information.
•  If playing a macro file does not produce the desired results, try playing the macro at a slower rate.
•  Macro playback can be aborted by simultaneously pressing the Ctrl-Break or the Ctrl-Alt-Del key combinations.
