Getting Started
The BlueZone Security Server memory and processor requirements vary based on the number of simultaneous users and the buffer sizes selected in the Connection configuration.
The minimum hardware and software requirements are:
Windows NT 4.0 SP4 or higher, Windows 2000 SP2 or higher, or Windows 2003.
Pentium III 200 MHz Processor, plus 10 additional MHz for every 20 concurrent telnet or HTTP session.
This is an approximate server sizing guideline. Low telnet traffic or high file transfer traffic can greatly affect processor load.
64 MB memory plus an additional 128K per user session with maximum buffer settings.
At least one network interface card (NIC)
NOTE For
production applications, it is preferred that BlueZone Security Server
is installed on a "Server Class" platform and OS. For
evaluation purposes, a "PC Class" platform and OS is acceptable.
