BlueZone Licensing

Chapter 7

BlueZone License Manager

Overview

BlueZone emulation clients may be licensed on a concurrent user basis under the control of the BlueZone License Manager.  The License Manager is a 32-bit Windows application that can reside on any Windows 95, 98, ME, XP, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000 or Windows 2003 system.  This application must be installed somewhere on the network that is accessible by your BlueZone End Users.  The License Manager requires very little processing power to handle thousands of client license requests.  Therefore, it may be installed on a system running the web server, BlueZone Security Server, or any other Windows PC with excess processing capability.

NOTE  We recommend using a Windows "server" in lieu of a Windows PC whenever possible.

Please refer to the BlueZone License Manage Administrator's Guide for more information...

TIP  All BlueZone documentation can be found on the BlueZone CD-ROM or BlueZone CD image.  To locate a particular document, double click the DocumentationRoadmap.htm document located in the root of the BlueZone CD-ROM or BlueZone CD image.
