Installing BlueZone |
Chapter 2 |
As mentioned in the What's New in BlueZone 4.0, we stated that BlueZone's Power Keys feature has been replaced with a new feature called Power Pads.
However, the Power Keys feature has not been eliminated from BlueZone, it has only been turned off. If desired, you can choose to enable the old Power Keys feature.
To enable the old Power Keys feature, you must install BlueZone from a BlueZone Distribution Image.
SEE Creating
a Distribution Image in Chapter 6
- Administering BlueZone for more information.
Procedure:
Create a BlueZone Distribution Image.
Locate the SETUP.INI file in the newly created Distribution Image.
Edit the SETUP.INI file with Notepad.
In the [BZSetup] section, locate the EnablePowerKeys=Yes entry.
Change the Yes to No and save the file.
Install or re-install BlueZone from this Distribution Image by double clicking the SETUP.EXE file.
The Power keys feature will now be enabled for all BlueZone emulation clients.
NOTE You
can not enable the new Power Pads feature and the old Power Keys Feature
to be active at the same time. You
can only have one or the other.
