Administering BlueZone

Chapter 6

Directories, Files, and Registry Entries

Topic Quick Links:

Setup

The BlueZone Setup program installs the program files in a single directory and creates BlueZone Registry Entries.  The file name and a description of each file’s function is provided below.  This information will be useful when planning the deployment of BlueZone to your End User community.  If a function is not required for an installation, then the associated files may be omitted from the distribution image.

SEE  Creating a Distribution Image for more information.

Directories

All BlueZone files are placed in a directory structure under C:\Program Files\SEAGULL\BlueZone by default.  BlueZone setup does not place files in any common Windows directories other than the font files, eliminating the problems created by other emulators that install files in the Windows System directory.

The directory structure is as follows:

C:\Program Files\SEAGULL\BlueZone

\Certs Contains SSL certificate files.

\Config Contains BlueZone configuration and keyboard map files.

\Macros Contains BlueZone macro files.

\Scripts Contains BlueZone script files.

\Spool Contains BlueZone Printer spool files.

\Traces Contains traces taken using the trace facility in the TN3270/5250 driver.

\Transfer Contains files transferred using IND$FILE utility or BlueZone FTP.
