Object Compatibility Mode Help

Welcome

Welcome to Object Compatibility Mode Help.  BlueZone Host Automation Object has built-in compatibility for several competitive emulation products.  The purpose of BlueZone's Object Compatibility Mode is to make the conversion of macros and scripts that were created by these products as easy as possible.

How Compatibility Mode Works

The concept is very simple.  Many of the major emulation products on the market today employ the use of "Objects" in much the same way as BlueZone does with it's Host Automation Object.  Generally speaking, the "Objects" of competing products are not compatible with each other.  The makers of these products all create their own proprietary object methods and properties for use with their own emulation products.  In fact, many of the makers of these products have created their own scripting languages that are similar to but not completely compatible with the high level scripting languages that are popular today like Visual Basic Scripting or Java Script.

To make BlueZone compatible with the"Objects" of competing products, we simply add the various proprietary methods and properties that are used by the competitive "Objects" to BlueZone's Host Automation Object.  The net result is that BlueZone can interpret, with minimal changes, a script (or macro) that was written for our supported competitive products.

At the present time, the BlueZone Object supports compatibility with the following products:
