DTD Editor
The DTD Editor allows you to load, create, or edit Document Type Definitions (DTDs) for XML data, and map them to Uniface entities and fields.
The DTD Editor enables you to:
- Create a Uniface DTD based on modeled entities.
- Create a Uniface DTD in the Repository from a DTD in your file system.
- Create a Uniface DTD from the data structure of a Uniface component.
- Validate the DTD to ensure it is syntactically correct.
- Map XML elements to Uniface fields and entities, so that Uniface can transport data to and from the XML stream.
- Define additional properties for the DTD. For example, you can define a URI location (an Internet address) for the DTD so that non-Uniface components can locate the DTD.
