Available methods and properties of ADO objects

This section presents the methods and properties of each ADO object and which methods and properties are available to developers using the OLE DB Provider for ODBC with D3 ODBC.

  1. Connection object
    The following methods and properties are available from the Connection object.
  2. Command object
    The Command object is not typically needed because stored procedures and queries are not available in D3 and the Connection object allows execution of commands. Nonetheless, it can be used to execute SQL statements in the same way as the Execute method of the Connection object.
  3. Parameter object
    The Parameter object is not used because stored procedures and queries are not available in D3.
  4. Recordset object
    The following methods and properties are available from the Recordset object.
  5. Field object
    The following methods and properties are available from the Field object.
  6. Property object
    The following properties are available from the Property object.
  7. Error object
    The following properties are available from the Error object.
