Complete these instructions to download and install Java JDK for Windows.
About this task
Important:
- Ensure that you download Java JDK version 1.8 or later.
- Use the same password wherever prompted.
Procedure

Go to https://www.oracle.com/in/java/technologies/javase-downloads.html to access the Java
JDK executable for download and do one of the following:
- If you have MVS Toolkit 2.2.3 or earlier, download the 32-bit version.
- If you have MVS Toolkit 2.3.0 or later, download the 64-bit version.

Select the .EXE Windows installer.

When the download completes, navigate to your Downloads folder.

Double-click the .EXE to install the JDK.

Follow the instructions provided.
Tip: You can minimize the install path name. For example: C:\Java
