Use these instructions to install the MVS using the console interface.
This installation type is supported on Linux only.
sh <download.dir>/RocketMVSSetup.<version>.bin -i console
where <download.dir> is the directory to which the installation files were downloaded and <version> is the version and build number in x.x.x.xxx form.
You will see an introductory message for the Installation process.
The END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT opens.
You will see the following message:
DO YOU ACCEPT THE TERMS OF THIS LICENSE AGREEMENT? < Y/ N>:
The Choose Install Components menu opens.
Choose Install Components ------------------------- Please choose the Install Set to be installed by this installer. ->1- Typical 2- Customize ... ENTER THE NUMBER FOR THE INSTALL SET, OR PRESS <ENTER> TO ACCEPT THE DEFAULT :
When the process completes, select whether or not to review the MVS Release Notes (recommended).
The MVS Installation is complete.
Go to Step 7.
Choose Product Features ----------------------- ENTER A COMMA_SEPARATED LIST OF NUMBERS REPRESENTING THE FEATURES YOU WOULD LIKE TO SELECT, OR DESELECT. TO VIEW A FEATURE'S DESCRIPTION, ENTER '?<NUMBER>'. PRESS <RETURN> WHEN YOU ARE DONE: 1- [X] Rocket MVS Web Server Please choose the Features to be installed by this installer. :

Multiple component numbers must be typed comma-separated.
For example: To display information for the Rocket MVS Web Server component, enter ?1.
You will see a series of configuration prompts.
After all of your configuration settings have been set, the Pre-Installation Summary opens.
The installation process begins.
