Creating and managing web services

The third step in the process of setting up MV Web Service Operations or Resources is creating the actual Web Service.

A Web Service is a logical grouping of Web Service Operations or Resources identified by a unique URL. Grouping web services allows you to define an address that a client can use in making a Web Service call.

There are two categories of Web Services based on the transfer protocol employed:
