Formatting INFO/ACCESS Reports

This section describes the modifiers that may be used to format, or specify the appearance of, an INFO/ACCESS report. In formatting a report, the user may specify:

A number of INFO/ACCESS commands create special report formats, and are described in sections Using INFO/ACCESS Commands for Special Processing and Generating Forms with INFO/ACCESS.

The table below summarizes the modifiers (and equivalent parenthetical options) available for formatting INFO/ACCESS reports.

Modifier

Description

BREAK-ON

Specifies control breaks in a report.

COL-HDR-SUPP

Suppresses time/date heading, column headings, and end-of-list message. (C) option.

DBL-SPC

Double-spaces a report.

DET-SUPP

Suppresses detail output.

FOOTING

Defines a footing for each page of a report.

GRAND-TOTAL

Prints the specified text on the grand total line.

HEADING

Overrides the default heading.

[HDR-]SUPP

Suppresses the default heading. (H) option.

ID-SUPP

Suppresses the display of item-IDs.

TOTAL

Calculates and displays totals for the specified attribute.

Certain keywords function differently when used in combination with particular INFO/ACCESS commands. These combinations are summarized at the end of this section.
