Breaks may be required when starting new paragraphs, or formatting lines in other contexts. A line break starts formatted text at a new line. Line breaks are formatted with the .BREAK command.
An alternative method of breaking lines without the .BREAK command is to turn line filling off and have the source lines output as they were entered.
