Description
Perform these steps to add an mvBase tape unit with the SET-TAPEFILE command:
Log to the SYSPROG account.
Execute T-SELECT Vn to select the tape device number (n).
Execute the SET-TAPEFILE <path> command line.
The tape file is now ready for use as an mvBase tape unit until the system is shut down. Commands such as T-ONLINE, T-DUMP, ACCOUNT-RESTORE, FILE-SAVE, etc., function in customary fashion.
