Information in the Disk Errors Report has the following format:
LOG ITEM-ID |
Unique item-ID assigned by the operating system. |
DATE |
Date the disk error was logged. |
ERR TIME |
Time the disk error was logged. |
ALARM |
Type of disk error. See the Types of Disk Errors table below for a description of the disk codes listed in this column. |
BUFFER |
Area in RAM containing data to be written to disk. |
DRV |
Disk drive number where the error occurred. |
REL SECT |
Relative sector ID, track, and sector where the error occurred. |
#SECTS |
Number of sectors. This should always be 1. |
FRAME |
Converts the track and sector into the frame ID. |
