The locked clause is used when the requested item is locked and waiting is not desired.

You can specify the amount of time a process waits to execute the locked clause in the FSI if a lock is present by creating the updLockTimeout registry value in the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/RocketSoftware/D3/CurrentVersion/D3FSI/ directory in registry. If this value is not explicitly specified, the default update lock timeout is 500 milliseconds. |
