Overflow Table

The overflow table is the area that contains a list of unused frames.

The overflow table is handled as a B-tree, rather than as a finite set of overflow table entries. It is possible to set a reserve block of overflow, in case the system runs out of disk. The overflow table can be rebuilt if it should become necessary.
